Have noticed that many forecasts made during that event (DVD now available) predictions
panel have already come true. For instance, "…floods, heavy rains, landslides or polluted
water… " - the chart shows much colder winters as well as "…much discussion and writing
about unusual weather patterns in the news… sudden coldness, swimming…Also, this CapSolar
year, Mars maps potential winter difficulties or freak storms resulting in damage from cold,
freezing or possibly even death. This is good news for those of us who have been keeping track of
global warming. However, we mustn't be ostriches with our heads in the sand - a cool year does
not suggest a definitive planetary cure as yet. Measures still need to be taken. There have been
heavy flooding or snowstorms in the Midwest, including Missouri, Indiana and Arkansas.

In December I predicted potential increase in income for script-writers. And subsequently, there
was a favorable outcome for the writer's strike. We have also already seen "… In terms of
transportation…agreements…improving matters related to …vehicles … especially electrical
and electronic ones" in the form of new models of electric cars released.

Those of you who were puzzled by Sheriff Michael Corona's behavior may not be surprised to
hear this excerpt: "…official police, detective or investigative work about possible problems or
scandal linked to important person(s) and perhaps a cover-up or deception related to police
actions or errors…one or more police officers who may have felt above the law due to
outstanding success and increase of power and influence at work resulting in illegal activities or
fraud or toleration of them. "

And, greenies will be happy to note an " … increased tendency to dress or groom hair in a
conservative fashion which could result in profits to the garment and hair design
industries…[and] a generalized, motherly response to endangered or dying species. Green
investments are likely to continue to flourish…" I also said "One potential should be carefully
curbed - a tendency to impose submission to environmental influences in an oppressive fashion.
Because this year bodes well for extensive improvements related to ecology, some of which could
become compulsory, the people may discover some of their privileges are in question because of
extreme stances regarding global warming, pollution, weather anomalies and deforestation, and
may need to reassert equality, lawful rights and entitlements to restore balance. It may help to be
prepared beforehand by studying laws that may come into question."

I joined a group of spiritual friends for lunch at a mansion up in Anaheim Hills. It was splendid
in every respect, superbly decorated with luxurious gardens, pool, tennis court. We sat,
reminisced, soaked in beauty:

Jupiter t was at 10 Scorpio: **A fellowship supper reawakens unforgettable inner ties.**
Nostalgic memories of the past. Present experiences reminiscent of past pleasures.

Saturn t was at 10 Leo: **Early morning dew.** Fresh delight of wonder and beauty.
Sparkling, sense of well-being, plenty and luxury in the ongoing, natural process of life.
Wonder, nourishment and inspiration from the natural environment and from divine sources.

Vesta, goddess of the hearth, was at 13 Leo: **An old sea captain rocking on the porch of
his/her cottage.** Pleasant memories of special occasions and interesting histories.
Storytelling, tradition, enabling the young to benefit from the experience of those who have
gone before them. To enjoy the property in peace. There was an older gentleman who called the
meeting and he sat back on the rear legs of his chair, reminiscing, just as the degree depicts.

Hygeia was at 24 Capricorn: **A woman entering the sure haven of a [spiritual sanctuary or
convent].** Protective kindness of life and of the cultivated elements of society to fulfill hearts.
Quiet spiritual undercurrent of existence. Timely rest and retreat for the goodness of the soul.
Assistance, peace, tranquillity, protection. Ashram. Can be a family grouping, but it is usually a
group of special friends and spiritual companions sharing resources, knowledge, playtime,
sometimes worktime, and perhaps lodgings, in a routine, kindly manner.

The Sun t was trine Jupiter t, favoring outdoor activities, giving a feeling of affable satiety and
comfortable relaxation, may attract wealthy people or their environments, and is one of the
aspects of ministers. (There was a minister present.)

Venus t was conjunct my natal Ascendant: Harmonious, friendly interactions with others.
Improved popularity, good taste, friendly, affable, and pleasing behavior. Comfort in
relationships. Beautiful (or decorative) appearances. Time to enjoy oneself. Good taste, art,
music.

I had an experience that I can only call a "visitation" from an angel, of sorts… Similar to
historical tales, a taste of energetic ecstasy descended from the throat to the solar plexus so
profoundly pleasurable that I, for once, stopped talking! I could only gasp in an awestruck sort
of way. I've been making light of it ever since because I haven't integrated it yet, it was almost
too beautiful to bear. Eventually it subsided enough for me to speak, and then a voice came out
of my mouth with messages for the group. Rather nice messages about pathways to celestial
tribes and God and so forth. Well, after that fun I had to look at the chart.

With Aquarius rising, a "Degree of Positive Intercession". Some aspects include Sun r cnj IC
sq Moon r - an event having personal significance and putting me center stage. Moon t tr NN r
- it was a group of women. Su t sxt Ma r - an increase of energy. Me t cnj Ne r, tr Me r, sq Ur r,
sxt Pl r - a surprising communication with an element of wonder or mystery. "This energy can
be unsettling or inspiring -- possibly both." "Thoughts…of matters usually inhibited or
unconscious." Trance states. Natal Ve ssq t Asc qnx t MC, Ne t ssq Ve r (Venus has shown up
for kundalini anomalies, possibly connected to the metabolism of sugars -
we had just eaten pumpkin pie.) Pallas is rather strong, opposite Pallas r and t Eq, tr Ve r, Ju r
and Vx r. MC t is sq Pallas r.

Degree Symbols: Moon: **A waterspout.** Irresistible outbursting of pent-up impulses,
creatively and regeneratively. Healing of complexes. The will to wholeness. Self-disclosure.
Mercury: **An airborne golden leaf teaches instruction to a curious schoolchild.** Wonder at
miracles, delight at being taught. A Degree of Enchantment. Venus: **A child with a censer
serves near the priest.** Rejuvenation of spirit. Preparation for enlightenment. Mars: **An
oriental person nursing a baby haloed by a divine light.** A special person with a message. The
promise to us all that God may take birth within our realm of experience. Personality
integration. Illumination. The manifestation of the divine within one's own soul. Uranus:
**An officiant instructs the initiates.** Neptune: **A big white dove, a message bearer.** The
blessing of every conscientious effort by the "Holy Ghost". West Point: **An unsealed letter
full of vital news.** A context based on honorable vows and lofty ideals. Disclosure, for love
and friendship's sake. Hygeia: **A white triangle with golden wings.** Eagerness for a
spiritual goal. A Degree of the Miraculous.

I accidentally stumbled on the option to electronically read and narrate text included in my
astrological software. I was quite surprised and pleased. Transiting Mercury (speaking and
writing) was (0:59) still conjunct transiting Jupiter (opportunity and expansion), semisextile
transiting Pluto (profundity, something unusual). My natal Jupiter-Venus conjunction
(pleasant experiences, possessions) was on the 4th house cusp (coming to the fore). Transiting
Ceres (the generous and abundant mother) was conjunct natal Midheaven (professional matters
-- in Aquarius, involving astrology and computers). A midpoint that was active: Transiting
Mercury = natal Uranus/Midheaven: Thoughts related to surprises, surprising discussions,
unexpected communications, spontaneous speech, discussions related to events, to get excited.

The Degree Symbol for 7 Capricorn is: **Birds in a house filled with light are singing
happily.** The happiness that radiates from an integrated personality. Firm self-establishment
in social comfort and respectability. A Degree of Song. With transiting Mars in this degree I
found myself singing while making breakfast. I had watched Brother Sun, Sister Moon, a
deeply moving film about the life of St. Francis and his work with the homeless and
underprivileged, and in the film score there was a song written by Donovan that goes like this:
"Birds are singing, sweet and low, from the trees that gently grow, soft and soothing breezes
blow, on this lovely day." The house was indeed full of light, so three elements of the symbol
came together in a new juxtaposition:
Birds, house, light, and happily singing.

The first thing that stands out in the event chart is Venus conjunct Saturn in Leo in the 11th
house. Venus = gems and jewelry, Saturn = hard things, and Leo is known for its flamboyant
love of jewelry and other precious things. Saturn trines Pluto in Sagittarius - mining, things
from underground. Pluto's degree symbol is **A sculptor's vision is taking form.** Mastery of
formative intelligence over substance. Sureness of expression and perfection of ability. A
permanent form to one's inner ideals and images. Saturn's degree is **Dawn; in the east, light
slowly increases, and the stars are blended in with it.** Transforming power of creative
impulses as they bring ideas into concrete manifestation. A sense of wonder as the opportunities
beckon to us. A Degree of Manifestation. One of the sculptures was called "Manifestation",
and we did feel wonder at the beauty of objects on display. Uranus closely trines the
Midheaven: Something exciting, unique, different among pleasant companions. Venus squares
Mars, often showing artistic inclinations or activities. The Sun widely trines Jupiter, showing
wealth. Sun's degree is associated with inviting guests to participate in comfortable
social/spiritual occasions. Jupiter is in the 2nd house of valuable possessions, in Sagittarius
(items from other countries). Many of the displays were from exotic locales. The Part of
Fortune degree, in the 11th house of friends, was **In a palatial estate bright-eyed women
laugh happily.** Early stage of development of individual soul, with full yet binding
life-protection. A measure of freedom. Popularity with women. Friendship, sisterhood,
non-competitive relationships, family, prosperity, joy. A Degree of Satisfaction. (I went to the
exhibit with two women friends.) The 8th house cusp (Placidean) was in a degree associated
with multiplicity of forms with underlying similarity. Pallas Athena's degree was **In a quiet
moment, an art student drinks in the flow of inspiration.** Gratitude, fulfillment, perfected
wisdom, aesthetic ideals manifest in the tangible realms. Venus and the Moon make septile
aspects to Juno, and all three goddesses are often shown bedecked with jewels.

It might be said that astrology is the answer to the familiar question, "why did the chicken cross
the road?"
